This attachment holds the Ram in the lower axis in a vertical position and allows it to rotate freely inside the wheel. Thus, the Ram can be moved away from the bend site as heat is applied or it can be held still while the wheel is rotated. When the latter is done, the Ram acts as a reference indicator virtually eliminating dial indicator setup time.
