When straightening forces are applied, the wheel flexes laterally and the Mainshaft flexes backward. If significant pressure is applied, this flexing can make accuracy somewhat tricky. Extreme pressure could even damage the Mainshaft.
Using this attachment enables the operator to apply pressure more precisely, while supporting the Mainshaft. This resourceful strategy often produces results, which are both effective and timesaving.
